Health
The Department of Health's Change4Life campaign has partnered with children's television character Sportacus from LazyTown to encourage young children to be more active and eat healthier.

To launch the partnership, from next week 3,600 Sure Start children’s centres will receive new Change4Life activity packs featuring all of the characters from LazyTown. The packs will contain fun ideas for group activities and parents at home, such as healthy recipe ideas and a sticker wall chart.

Change4Life has teamed up with BBC Cbeebies' Sportacus after he was named the healthiest children’s character on UK television in a new independent study. Scooby Doo was named the second healthiest character and the least healthy was Scoop from Bob the Builder. Characters were rated on their activity levels and received marks for good behaviour such as walking short journeys and playing sport.

Public health minister Anne Milton said, ‘Eating well and being active is crucial, especially at an early age.
