- How has doing your BA in early years improved your practice?

It's been beneficial for everyday practice and has improved my confidence. It has also helped me to support staff at the setting. It's a shame that there is so much uncertainty over the future of the EYPS.

- How long have you worked at the pre-school?

I've been at the setting for ten years. I started as a parent helper and then made the move into childcare from working as an accountant.

- You also work as a leading practitioner for North Yorkshire county council. What does the role involve?
