- How did you celebrate your 38th anniversary at Ocker Hill?
The nursery held a party and invited the local press to do a story. Ialso received lots of cards and gifts from the children and staff.
- Did you always want to work in childcare?
I always knew I wanted to work with children. I worked at Ocker Hillprimary school for 17 years teaching reception and upwards, beforemoving to the nursery in 1988, where I have been ever since.
- How has the nursery changed over those years?
We always looked at different topics within the nursery, but now weconcentrate on planning a lot more and providing the children with amuch wider range of practical activities.
