What is so special about Stonegate's theatre productions?

We're based in a hall used by local thespians, so we have stagelighting, microphones and background scenery. We call it our LittleLuvvies group. Lots of children didn't want to get up at first but theylove it now. It's a real confidence-giver. Children with speech andlanguage difficulties suddenly find their voice when they're in front ofa microphone.

- How often do you do a play or musical?Once every half term. They include Three Little Pigs, Billy Goats Gruffand a signed Old MacDonald. It's very much incorporated into theirlearning. With Three Little Pigs we looked at it as a topic beforehand.By the end we were discussing the difference between smaller and bigger,and the science of a house being blown down.
