Position: Manager of Alphabet House Day Nursery in West Bridgford, Nottingham
- How long have you worked as manager?
I was promoted from deputy manager last year when the new owners, Tony and Marie Brentford of Alphabet House, took over the nursery. I really enjoy working there as the new owners are very reliable and behind the nursery 100 per cent.
- How long have you worked in childcare?
I used to work at a nursery in Manchester before starting as a room leader at Alphabet House four years ago, then owned by different people.
- What are your future plans?
I want to build up my experience as a manager and continue working at the nursery. At the moment I am doing my Level 3 diploma in Leadership and Management, and hope to follow this up with my Level 4.
