Position: Deputy manager at School House nursery in Delamere, Cheshire,who is in the last 16 finalists to ride in the John Smith's People'sRace at the Grand National Festival, Aintree on 4 April, raising moneyfor Alder Hey Children's Hospital's Imagine appeal.
- How did you enter the competition?
I saw an advert for the race while I was at Aintree racecourse anddecided I'd like to give it a go, especially with the charity aspect. Ihave always enjoyed riding, but never ridden in races before.
- What training do you have to do?
I have to visit the Racing College in Doncaster once a month and I ridewith my trainer three times a week. I go to the gym for an hour everyday and two hours on Saturday.
