Subsidies for APEL course

* Early years professionals working in the childcare, playwork or early years sector in West Yorkshire wanting to take the CACHE Certificate in Work with Children - Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) programme for a Level 3 early years or playwork qualification can get 80 per cent of their National Extension College course fees funded by the Learning and Skills Council if their employers are willing to pay 20 per cent. The total cost of the course including CACHE fees is 475, so 20 per cent is 95. Those who think they would be eligible should find out if their employer is willing to pay 20 per cent of the course fee.
