Five-year-old Alice Levitt wasn't too squeamish to get to grips with Garry the giant African land snail at a summer holiday event held at Haltemprice Leisure Centre in Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire. Other creatures that local children got to meet included a corn snake and a gerbil.
