Nominations are being sought for this year's Sure Start Partners in Excellence Awards. The awards aim to recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation in the delivery of children's and families' services across England. This year the awards are connected with the five key outcome themes in Every Child Matters. There are nine categories: integrating care and education; achieving with partners; better information to more parents; empowering parents; promoting children's well-being; equality and inclusion; enabling children's learning; transforming the children's workforce; and building for Sure Start. The competition is open to all those helping to deliver Sure Start and related service, which may include local authorities, nurseries, schools, childminders and out-of-school clubs.
