Respondents were from across with UK, with two- fifths from London and the South East. A quarter work as managers/leaders, while one in five are at nursery nurse/nursery officer level. A third of respondents work in private schools or nurseries, a fifth in pre-schools/playgroups and 14 per cent in local authority primary schools.
