Teacher's team

I have read your excellent magazine for many years and the only area that angers me is the bickering of a core of nursery nurses about teachers (Letters, 5 January). I have taught and managed in early years education for more than 30 years and have been privileged to work with some superb nursery nurses. We did not waste time and energy comparing training or hours worked, but recognised the value of our partnership. When teachers and nursery nurses work in harmony as professionals, children receive the best care and education.
