Tell our employers

I understand how frustrated some parents are (Letters, 25 March), but they should direct their anger at the employers' representative body, CoSLA, because Unison and nursery nurses would never turn down a realistic offer. The offers we have received to date, which have not been accepted, would have made us worse off than we are now.

The offers we have received to date, which have not been accepted, would have made us worse off than we are now.

It is not being greedy to expect a reasonable salary for the work we do.

Would any parents accept more and more responsibilities for less pay? We want this dispute to end as soon as possible, but CoSLA's refusal to meet with us has made it drag on unnecessarily. We need everyone's support to end this dispute so we can get back to caring and educating all children, especially those with special needs, who are missing our important input into their lives so much.
