The big picture: Muddy faces

Children and early years professionals around the world will be
celebrating International Mud Day on 29 June.

The initiative started in 2009 at the World Forum for Early Childhood Care and Education in Belfast, and aims to celebrate nature and the outdoors and bring children together by getting muddy.

This year, organiser World Forum Foundation is calling on nurseries to incorporate fundraising efforts into International Mud Day celebrations to support the communities in Nepal that have been affected by the recent earthquakes.

Resources for the day can be found at www.worldforumfoundation.org/ what-are-you-doing-for-mud-day.
