The Big Picture: Museum visit is talk of the town

Child Development
Children and their parents from Baguley Primary School in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, were treated to a visit to Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry by The Communication Trust, as part of a project to develop children's speaking and listening skills.

Parents were encouraged to engage the children in conversation about the museum's exhibits.

The Talk of the Town is a project being delivered in early years settings and speech and language therapy services in Wythenshawe by The Communication Trust and South Manchester Inclusive. It aims to improve children and young people's speech and language.
