Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue, or how fast light is? Now you can find out the answers at the Eye for Colour exhibition at the World Museum in Liverpool.

The touring exhibition, which has attracted more than a million visitors across Europe, has returned home for its tenth anniversary.

The free family-friendly event is full of interactive displays, including a mood room that allows visitors to experience how different colours can lift your spirits or make you sad. Learn how shades of colour affect how food tastes, how artists make pigments for paint, and get up close to eyes, both animal and human.

The exhibition runs in Liverpool from 22 January-4 September 2016.
