An innovative baby room of kaleidoscopic projections and light boxes is back by popular demand for the Imaginate Festival in Edinburgh this May.

Blue Block Studio is for adults and babies aged from birth to two. As well as kaleidoscopes and rainbow-colour lights, it also features mirrored floor surfaces and soft shapes of different sizes and textures.

The space was designed last year by artist Katy Wilson and Starcatchers, a charity that aims to nurture creativity through unique experiences and performances for under-fives across Scotland.

Imaginate Festival celebrates the performing arts for children and young people and runs from 28 May to 5 June.
