The Summer Kids Fest at Proud Country House in Brighton is offering activities to help children flourish in the great outdoors.

The programme of events, which runs until 17 September, includes tree-climbing lessons, circus skills workshops, interactive treasure hunts, bike tours and hip hop dance classes.

More peaceful activities include yoga, mosaic-making, cookery classes and storytelling in a fairy themed garden.

Set within Stanmer Park, the festival is for children aged between two and 14. All profits will be donated to children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House.

Vicky Norman, corporate fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House, said, ‘We would like to thank everyone involved at Proud County House for their support. The events sound amazing.’
