The big picture: Royal visit

The Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to Brookhill Children's
Centre in Woolwich to learn more about family support charity
Home-Start.

Her Royal Highness was introduced to the mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and met families who have been supported by the charity to listen to their experiences.

She then went on to view a volunteer training session and visited a creche to meet families and staff.

Rob Parkinson, chief executive of Home-Start UK, said, 'The Duchess has heard first hand from families whose lives have been turned around with the support of Home-Start, and that shows just how important our work is.'
