Head of the kindergarten Helen Baynham said, 'I would never have dreamt that we could have won such a wonderful award competing against all of those other lovely nurseries. Nursery of the Year is a very special award for us for many reasons. All of the staff and parents are over the moon but very humbled by the whole thing.'
Judges of the Nursery World award 2012 were particularly impressed by staff at the Cottage Kindergarten who they said work tirelessly for the benefit of the children in their care.
