The National Children's Bureau's Children's Centre Project (CCP)

The National Children's Bureau's Children's Centre Project (CCP), a consortium of seven children's charities looking at new models of collaborative working, has appointed Dominic Fox as its director. Mr Fox was formerly chief executive of Kidsactive, a charity promoting play for disabled children. He said, 'CCP is about finding practical proposals that will ultimately benefit services for children and young people. It is an exciting and challenging initiative, and I'm very excited to be part of it.' CCP aims to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of existing services and to develop new services through collaborative work. Partner organisations with the NCB include ChildLine, Family Service Units, I CAN, The Place 2 Be, the Who Cares? Trust, and YoungMinds. It has three years of funding from the Treasury's Invest to Save budget.
