The Children's Centre Project

is to commission five feasibility studies to explore the potential for closer collaborative working between its members. The five areas are linking help lines, interactive services for children and young people, managing collective knowledge, combining in-house services, and mapping and developing regional infrastructure. CCPdirector Dominic Fox said, 'We are looking for creative ways to build on the individual strengths of the partner organisations, through collective knowledge, resources and services.' The CCP is a consortium of seven charities - ChildLine, Family Service Units, I CAN, the National Children's Bureau, The Place 2 Be, the Who Cares? Trust, and YoungMinds. It aims to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of services, to develop new services through collaborative work and ultimately for some to move into a common building in a new partnership. The deadline for tender submissions is 5pm on Friday 19 December. For more information or to submit a tender, e-mail dfox@childrenscentre.org.uk.
