* The Right Honourable Dame Butler Sloss has been appointed a governor of children's charity Coram Family. Until recently, Dame Elizabeth was the president of the family division of the High Court. Honor Rhodes, chief executive of Coram Family, said, 'As president she played a vital role in helping to develop our Child Contact service, and we believe her immense knowledge and expertise on a wide range of issues involving children will make a significant contribution to Coram Family's development.'
