How to play

Draw a circle to represent the traffic light. About 10 metres behind it draw a line to represent the pavement. One child is the traffic light and stands in the circle with back to the pavement. The others stand on the pavement.

The game begins by the traffic light shouting 'Green for Go'. On hearing 'Go' the children start to walk across the road. Suddenly the traffic light shouts, 'Red for Stop' and turns around. As soon as the children hear 'Red for Stop' they freeze. The last child to freeze is out and misses a turn. The first child to touch the traffic light, becomes the traffic light for the next game.
