Time to train

Living 'over the border' from Epsom, I found Jane Taoka's letter, 'How can childminders find time to train?' (5 April) interesting, although not particularly surprising. The short answer is that we use our own time - evenings and weekends. In Kingston we do, however, have access to a wide range of courses at all levels and a careers directory which is updated and sent out once or twice a year.

It is annoying not being able to get to courses during the working day, but then we are offering a unique type of provision.
