Titled position

I work as a nursery nurse in an early years class. I read with interest on the Oxfordshire Education Service online education website that it intends to adopt a new generic job title of Early Years Support Worker from this September to replace the terms 'learning support assistant' and 'nursery nurse'. While I appreciate this is part of a wider deal on pay and conditions, I can't help but feel the title Early Years Practitioner would reflect a more professional and contemporary workforce.
