Trial moved to Bristol Crown Court

Vanessa George, the the nursery worker at the centre of the child abuse investigation at Little Ted's nursery in Plymouth, will not face trial in the city, a high court judge ruled last week.

Ms George was set to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 21 September.However, a statement from Devon and Cornwall police said the Chief CrownProsecutor of Devon and Cornwall has decided that 'due to the nature ofthe investigation' the case will be heard at Bristol Crown Court on adate to be set. Colin Blanchard and Angela Allen, who have also beencharged in connection with the investigation, will also have their casesheard in Bristol.
