The second of a five-part series putting a class of today's pupils under the regime of a secondary modern school of the 1960s. Car maintenance lessons prove a hit with the boys, but the girls dislike homecraft where they are taught the importance of keeping a clean home in preparation for their future as housewives. Meanwhile a spelling test sends panic round the school.
