Sue Lawley's castaway is Sister Frances Dominica, a nun and pioneer of the hospice movement, who says she feels she was born to be a nurse and describes how as a child she would line up her dolls and teddies in pretend hospital beds and minister to them. After taking her vows in 1972, she started the world's first children's hospice, Helen House, in 1982 and continues to raise funds for respite and hospice care to this day.
