The second, 'Grass Monkey', is about a boy who falls in love with a girl who thinks more of her hair than him.

Five monologues by Lynn Ferguson reveal what happened to the main characters from classic fairy tales, long after they went to live happily ever after. Cinderella goes for an orthopaedic shoe fitting, Rapunzel is a drunk who let her hair down once too often, the heroine of 'The Princess and the Pea' has learned to profit from allowing people to make ridiculous assumptions about her purity, Goldilocks has turned a small squatting habit into a full-time obsession, and Snow White makes her way back to the forest, where she and 'the guys' embark on a self-build project.
