Teachers and parents can learn how to help children be more active by watching a video produced by Dundee City Council. Mike Watson, minister for tourism, culture and sport, said, 'The video is an excellent example of the kind of joined-up approach needed to tackle obesity and inactivity in children. The Scottish Executive has increased funding for the Active Primary School programme from 1.3m per annum to a total of Pounds 16m over the next three years. This underlines our commitment to promoting physical activity as an essential element in improving the health of the nation.'
