Welsh get new playwork body

An organisation representing out-of-school provision in Wales was launched last week by the Welsh health and social services minister. Jane Hutt described the Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs as 'a vital partner to the Assembly government' and added, 'I am confident that Clybiau Plant will be a vocal force within the wider childcare sector as it develops in the coming years.'

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs is a sister organisation to the Kids' Clubs Network. It has been funded by the National Assembly to set up, develop and support quality out-of-school clubs for children aged three to 14. It aims to help expand the capabilities and qualifications of carers and workers in out-of-school provision with courses, training and support.
