The National Childminding Association Wales is calling for greater recognition of the role home-based childcare plays in supporting children, families and the community in its manifesto ahead of the Welsh Assembly government elections in May.
The manifesto for home-based childcare, launched yesterday, is also calling on the next Assembly to provide more support for families with disabled children and additional needs, and ensure all parents have access to the full range of childcare choice to help them take up employment opportunities.
