Worth all the work

Christmas time in the nursery means life is busy as excited children count down the days to Santa's visit with their presents. Nursery staff are under pressure, as they ensure every child makes a card, gifts and calendar. Then there are the rehearsals for the parents' carol concert, with all their ups and downs. But then I look at the children's faces as they sing their songs and see the sparkle in their eyes as we turn on the Christmas tree lights, which always brings the biggest smiles, and I realise that I never want it to end.
