Traditional calendar

A handmade advent calendar makes a lovely pre-Christmas surprise for parents or brothers and sisters.

You will need:

two sheets of thin card, measuring approximately 25cm by 35cm; paper knife and metal ruler (available from stationers); wooden chopping board; white PVA craft glue; black felt pen; Blu-tack; materials for decorating the calendar - Christmas stickers, old Christmas cards, glitter glue pens, felt pens, paint
