Zupair Khizar did his part for men in childcare

(Photograph) - Zupair Khizar did his part for men in childcare as the only male childminder out of 29 childminders in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham to receive their Introduction to Childminding certificates at a ceremony last month. He was congratulated by childminding network co-ordinator Tracie Maher (left) and Lesley Richardson, the council's childminding development officer. New childminders are being offered start-up grants by the local EYDCPusing money from the European Social Fund, and they can also get further funding from the same source if they want to continue their training to gain the NVQ Level 3 qualification.
