I always find your 'Tried and Tested' product assessments interesting and was very taken with the Threading Fruit Set featured in your 19 March issue.
It is shown as costing £19.99, which I felt was good value, so I decided to buy one for my childminding setting. I was expecting a postage charge. However, by the time Reflections On Learning had added a small order surcharge (£2.50), postage (£4) and VAT (£3.98) the price had risen to £30.47. This was quite a jump and way over my budget!
I do feel that the actual cost of products reviewed should be displayed. It should be made clear that prices are before VAT and any postage and surcharges should be listed.
