A friend was told by their EYDCP that when Every Child Matters comes into effect practitioners will NOT be allowed to have any input into any of the work a child does. This includes no topics, no card making, no festivals.
- Busybee - Nothing to be done?
I work in a baby room. We are not allowed to have themes or use templates. If children don't want to paint they don't have to (how can a five-month-old know what he wants?). We are not allowed to mop up spilt water as it is their markings.
