Children and families from Bertie’s Nursery in Faversham celebrated the marriage of Fred and Dottie, their scarecrows.
They helped organise the scarecrows’ big day and attended a wedding reception.
The idea to create a scarecrow, Fred, came as the nursery took part in an Education Endowment Foundation-funded Natural Thinkers project. Dottie joined Fred after he got lonely.
