All the hot early years topics are on the agenda at our annual summit, including surviving 30 hours and the progress of early years apprenticeships.

Don't delay - book your place to hear all the latest on these issues and much more.

Robert Goodwill MP, Minister of State for Children and Families, is to give the keynote speech at our fourth annual one-day Business Summit on 8 November.

robert-goodwill-01Mr Goodwill will address early years sector leaders on government policy priorities, including the 30 hours childcare implementation and the Workforce Strategy.

He joins a top line-up of speakers tackling all the big issues affecting the sector, including Ofsted Chief Inspector Amanda Spielman, who took on the role in January this year, following Sir Michael Wilshaw's departure.

The Nursery World Business Summit moves to a new venue, Rooms on Regent's Park, for 2017, to accommodate its growing popularity with senior early years leaders.

Following an unexpected general election and an unexpected result, adding uncertainty and change amid the full implementation of the 30-hour policy and the Workforce Strategy, this essential event will help you navigate the choppy political and economic waters.

The conference programme includes:

  • Ofsted inspections with HMCI Amanda Spielman
  • Surviving 30 hours - advice on strategies for success, plus pilot area nurseries compare experiences since the full launch of the programme
  • How Brexit, the economy and a hung parliament could affect the sector
  • The apprenticeships shake-up, with AELP chief executive Mark Dawe and early years trailblazer chair Fay Gibbin
  • Lessons on quality from the Study of Early Education and Development with Professor Chris Pascal and Sue Robb
  • Dr Julian Grenier on whether PVIs, primary and nursery schools can work together in an increasingly competitive environment
  • Workshop sessions on expanding your business overseas, great design for nursery buildings, and setting up forest schools and outdoor nurseries.
