Apel - a faster route to level 3 qualification

SPRITO has begun a massive research project to find out more about playworkers in England. At present there is no national information and it is important to know more to improve expertise in the field, as well as pay and conditions for playworkers.

The research continues to progress well, and will be moving into a second phase soon. So far we have had more than 1,300 replies, which give us a representative sample from across England, but we need more because we want to know about every playworker if we can. Anyone who has a questionnaire that they haven't returned (even though the return by date has passed) should fill it in and send it back. It is also still available on the website at www.playwork.org.uk.

Anyone who works for, runs, or has contact with an organisation that employs, trains or liaises with playworkers should contact me at Helen@playwork.org.ukor 0118 962 8394 so that I can send them questionnaires to pass around. It is vital that we get replies from as many people as we can. Also, if anyone wants me to go to an event or meeting to talk either formally or informally about the project, I'd be happy to do so if my diary allows.
