Canny nannies could also save their employers some money, the payroll service Nannytax informs us. Parents who use Nannytax are entitled to bonuses of up to 825 from the Government thanks to an Inland Revenue incentive to encourage the use of Electronic Data Interchange, whereby small employers file their staff tax data by computer rather than paperwork. All nannies have to do then is encourage their employers to share some of the bonus with them! Look out for the annual UK-wide nanny pay survey compiled by Nannytax in January's issue of Professional Nanny.
