Childminding networks help motivate and retain high-quality registered childminders, according to a study carried out by the National Children's Bureau for the National Childminding Association. Researchers looked at almost 50 NCMAChildren Come First (CCF) approved networks. It found that more than half of childminders on a CCF network hold a level 3 qualification or above, compared with just 20 per cent of childminders who are not part of a network.
