Nurseries, childminders and playgroups are invited to host their own Big Toddle, which this year has a fancy dress theme of fairytales and nursery rhymes.
All the money raised from the Big Toddle, which is open to babies and children under five, goes to Barnardo’s Under 5s Projects that help vulnerable young children.
Settings that take part in the event will receive a Toddle pack full of resources and ideas to help them make the most of their Big Toddle.
There are also posters and activities that nurseries can download and print from the Barnardo’s website. The printable materials include a Big Toddle height chart, photo frame and a puppet theatre and puppets.
More than 7,000 childcare providers and parents across the UK choose to organise their own Big Toddle ever year, with some opening up their event to other nurseries or families.
