Children race to deliver their views

Children travelled on mountain bikes, a speedboat and even a rickshaw (left) in order to deliver their views on the Children and Young People's Charter for Gateshead to councillor Linda Green. The wacky relay saw more than 20 young people travel 130 miles passing the 'baton', containing responses to the charter, across Gateshead's five neighbourhood areas.
