(Photograph) - Chinese New Year was the theme for a drop-in event attended by three-year-old Ellis and others at Hindley Children's Centre in Wigan. Organised by the local Bookstart team, it included arts and crafts, Chinese food and visiting storytellers from the Chinese Arts Centre in Manchester.

Organised by the local Bookstart team, it included arts and crafts, Chinese food and visiting storytellers from the Chinese Arts Centre in Manchester.
To celebrate the start of the Year of the Pig, the children also crafted dragons and lucky money holders.
