Conference to address early years recruitment crisis

The challenges of the early years workforce and how to overcome them will be the focus of a half-day conference next month.

Taking place on 31 January 2019, Ceeda’s About Early Years Workforce Roundtable conference is aimed at those in the sector responsible for strategy and decision making, including nursery owners, chief executives, local authority early years leads, early years advisors and consultants, universities, training providers, researchers and policy-makers.

During the event in central London, delegates will hear the latest findings on workforce trends from Ceeda’s About Early Years research programme before keynote speeches from CACHE’s director Julie Hyde and London Early Years Foundation’s chief executive June O’Sullivan.

Those who attend will also have the chance to discuss their experiences during a roundtable discussion.

Chair of the conference, early years strategic consultant Ruth Pimentel will draw the conference to a close, discussing the sector’s next steps to tackling the current workforce challenges.

Tickets cost £210 plus VAT if booked before 31 December or £230 plus VAT thereafter. Ticket price includes a copy of The About Early Years report pack, worth £75, and a summary of the roundtable discussion.
