Design a Dinosaur competition

Activities
Dinosaurs can stake a claim to being one of the most well-loved creatures among children of all ages.

To celebrate our enduring fascination with paleontology, dinosaurs are the theme of the 2014 annual Morton Michel drawing competition, following the aliens, sea creatures and bugs so popular in previous years.

The Design a Dinosaur competition, run by the childcare insurance specialist in association with the Dinosaur Society, is open to all early years and childcare settings and the children they care for, with three categories: under-fives, five- to seven, and eight- to 11.

Bring your own extinct creation back to life for a chance to win prizes from educational resources suppliers TTS and Eduzone.

Prizes for the winning entries and their settings include dinosaur skulls, a box of bones, large dinosaurs, banners, a T-Rex Skull Dino Excavation Kit and Triop World.

And every child that enters will receive a set of Morton Michel pencils with a pencil sharpener lid.

The closing date for entries is Friday 14 November and the winners will be announced on Tuesday 25 November.
