The Early Years and Primary Teaching Exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London promises to be a spectacular event for everyone working in nursery and primary education. The exhibition has reached its tenth anniversary, and to celebrate this milestone the London show will be the biggest and busiest yet.

With more than 170 leading educational suppliers under one roof it is easy for visitors to gain inspirational ideas, stock up on resources, check out the latest innovations and keep up to date with recent developments in this rapidly changing sector.

Sponsored by Nursery World and the Times Educational Supplement, the exhibition will provide plenty of guidance for all those teaching and caring for the under-threes, Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and 2 children, through an expanded seminar and training programme.

Get the most out of your visit by attending one of the 59 seminar sessions on offer. Topics include behaviour management, planning the Foundation Stage curriculum, promoting children's social skills, storytelling and using ICT and digital photography.

New for 2004 will be the inaugural Montessori Schools Association annual conference, a meeting place for everyone involved in Montessori education.

The enormously successful Professional Nanny conference returns, with the presentation of the first-ever Professional Nanny of the Year awards. Find out more on page 11.

Entry to the exhibition is free. Once inside you'll find a wealth of stands to explore, packed with great products and ideas. Don't forget to take advantage of your chance to win a KinderVan or an Art Island art centre by asking a representative from Community Playthings to swipe your badge. See page 14 for more details.

You can find out more about some of the exhibition highlights on pages 13 to 15, and plan your visit with the help of the floorplan and list of exhibiting companies on page 8.
