As spring approaches most of us get the urge to brighten up or change our environment. Whether you are contemplating buying new furniture, restocking your toy cupboards or wondering what you can do about your less-than-inspiring outdoor area, do nothing before you have thoroughly perused this issue. It's jammed full of new products, resources and contacts to help you make the changes you want. The renovation of school playgrounds is currently big news in the education world and we have chosen to make it one of our main stories, too. True, much playground equipment can be prohibitively expensive, but there is a number of modular units which can be added to as and when funds are available, so we hope we have found something to suit everyone's budget. It's amazing how original many schools have been - read about some of them on page 28.
