A great new series on Foundation Stage science begins this week in Nursery World, written by early years science specialists Linda Thornton and Pat Brunton. We're sure that you'll find its approach really useful. The articles start from the premise that many practitioners working with young children lack confidence in their own scientific knowledge - not ideal when you are helping children to explore and investigate the world around them and need to develop their learning and answer their questions.
